How a Cheese Board Became a Career

Former stay-at-home mom turned accidental food stylist, business owner, and professional cheese arranger. What started in the chaos of my family kitchen (where I learned I’m much better at making food look pretty than following complicated recipes) slowly turned into Charcuterie & Things.

When I first started my Instagram, it was honestly just to pursue a small business creating charcuterie boards and grazing tables for people. I thought I’d maybe book a few local orders, play with cheese placement, and call it a day. What I didn’t realize was that I was actually building a brand — and eventually a full-time career in content creation, food styling, and teaching others how to make everyday food feel a little more fun and beautiful.

Somewhere between folding salami into roses and turning snack boards into tutorials, the “little hobby” became a community of people who also love easy entertaining, approachable recipes, and making food look impressive without making life harder. So that’s what I share here: simple styling tips, easy recipes, hosting inspiration, and little tricks that make everyday food feel special — usually involving cheese and a little creative presentation.

At the end of the day, I’m just here to help make hosting feel more fun, less intimidating, and slightly more cheese-filled. Because honestly? The secret ingredient is presentation.
